About Us

Christopher Williams and Howard H. Hall, Jr. established Akan Mechanical, Inc. in October 2021. The Company is an MBE/DBE HVAC Contractor that specializes in piping system installations. Akan Mechanical is located on Chicago's South Side and is a signatory with the Pipefitters Local Union 597.

Together, Christopher and Howard have more than 55 years of experience working in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and construction industries. They have held a variety of positions over the years, including Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, Superintendent, BIM Modeler, Estimator, Project Manager, and now Owner. Their project portfolio includes hospitals, data centers, airports, hi-rises, office buildings, big box, stadiums, refineries, schools, universities, residential complexes, police & fire stations.
